Rosa x ‘WEKvossutono’ Julia Child Rose PPAF

Julia Child Rose PPAF is a 2006 AARS winner bred by Tom Carruth and was hand selected by Julia Childs to be her name sake before her death, perhaps it was her love of butter that helped her make the choice.  Rosa x ‘WEKvossutono’ is a floribunda with medium height and a rounded, bushy growth habit.  It has 3 1/2″, full blooms with a 35+ petal count.  These buttery-gold blooms are strongly fragrant of a licorice & spice scent and cover the plant from June through frost and will make great cut flowers.  Julia Child Rose has excellent disease resistance.  Plant in full sun and as with any rose, deadheading assures re-bloom. Parentage: [(Voodoo x R. soulieana derivative) x Summerwine] x Top Notch
