A dwarf species that was developed in New Zealand by the New Zealand’s Nurserymen’s Association for its lime green leaves and superior red color that shows in the fall. Very compact growth, only 2 feet wide by 2 feet tall at maturity, great for those who hate to prune! Flushes lime green in the spring, produces no flowers or fruit. In the summer the foliage will become red-tinged, by fall the foliage is bright red, hence the name Firepower!
