Liriope muscari ‘Silvery Sunproof’ Variegated Lily Turf

This group of grass like plants consists of a clumping form of evergreen perennials native to Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan, and China. Liriope muscari are planted as a groundcover or path edging and the plants do not creep. Leaves range from dark green or variegated to some varieties that have leaves that are so dark that they appear black. The flowers range from white to pale purple. Silvery Sunproof Liriope has green and yellow striped grass-like leaves 12 inches in height. Flower spikes are lilac in the summer. This variety is sun tolerant but will tolerate shady conditions also.
